Comics for Kamala began as livestream event on August 5th that featured Ben Stiller, Nick Offerman, Rosie O’Donell, Keegan-Michael Key and so many more. It was covered by Variety, Rolling Stone & many others and featured the debut of Nick Offerman’s viral performance of “Proud to Be a Kamala Man.” The event had over 110,000 live viewers and over 1 million X / Instagram impressions. More importantly, it helped raise over $550,000 for the Kamala Harris presidential campaign and we’re keeping the momentum going with a series of shows across the country.
This grassroots effort is not only showcasing local comedians but also building awareness for the Harris campaign.
Donations collected at each venue go directly to the Harris Victory Fund.
The Washington Roast is a one-of-a-kind blend of standup, sketch, and improv described by Metro Weekley as “SNL on steroids" Candidates answer live audience town hall questions before squaring off in a roast battle. Applause determines the winner of each round in a tournament of 2024 candidates and other politicians (Trump, Kamala, Vance, Walz and more). Hosted by Tim Kardashian.
